Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is looking for a dedicated Speech
Pathologist to join our diverse team of health professionals. In
this role, you will provide expert therapy to patients with speech,
language, and swallowing disorders within our state-of-the-art
inpatient rehabilitation facilities and, occasionally, in
home-based settings. This position requires an empathetic approach
to patient care, strong communication skills, and a commitment to
continuous professional development. Assess and diagnose disorders
related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and
swallowing. Design and administer treatment plans tailored to each
patient's needs and progress. Collaborate with healthcare
professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Educate patients and
their families on communication and swallowing strategies. Maintain
accurate patient records and document treatment outcomes.
Participate in ongoing research and professional development
activities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Expertise in various speech therapy techniques. Ability to work
collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams. Proficiency in patient
evaluation and treatment planning. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state license as a
Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
