Job Description:
Cherokee Federal, a division of Cherokee Nation Businesses, is
seeking a Business Development Manager to join our dedicated team.
This role is pivotal in supporting our mission of providing
top-tier construction, engineering, and IT services worldwide,
especially to government and civil service entities. As a Business
Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new
business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and
helping to expand our reach both domestically and internationally.
Your efforts will contribute directly to our growth objectives and
reinforce our commitment to delivering outstanding results for our
clients. Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify new
business opportunities within the government sector. Develop
strategic relationships with key stakeholders, agencies, and
partners to enhance business prospects. Coordinate with other
departments to align strategic plans and operational goals. Manage
the proposal development process from pre-solicitation to
submission. Oversee project budgets and ensure alignment with
financial objectives. Represent the company at industry
conferences, seminars, and networking events. Prepare detailed
reports on business development activities and their outcomes.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proven
experience in strategic planning and business negotiations. Ability
to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively. Strong
leadership skills and the ability to drive team success. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k PMP (Project
Management Professional) certification preferred. Certified
Business Development Expert (CBDE) is a plus.
