New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is actively seeking a General Maintenance Technician for a full time 4 month Contract position with potential for extension or conversion.Compensation: $35.50 per hour2 shift optionsOPTION 1: 6AM-2PM M-FOPTION 2: 2PM-10PM M-FThe main function of a General Maintenance Technician is to provide general maintenance support for the assigned buildings.Job Responsibilities: Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. Troubleshoot power, HVAC system and controls, and mechanical systems. Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management. Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed. Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED 5+ years of related experience EPA certification Basic knowledge of machine and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance Only candidates available and ready to work directly as NJAI/Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
