Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Albany, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 17 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work in 2C Observation Unit with 22 beds /n• Patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 with charge nurse in staffing /n• Every other weekend requirement /n• Rotate holidays with permanent staff /n• No call or standby requirements /n• Float to medical surgical units as needed /n• 3-shift unit orientation provided /n• Fast-paced environment with high patient turnover /n• Handle up to 16 discharges per day with frequent admissions /n• Work with miscellaneous medical observation patients /n• Heavy telemetry unit monitored by central monitoring /n• RNs perform own EKGs and draw own lab work /n• Manage heparin drips as needed /n• Work with 2 CNAs when staffing allows /n• No ventilators on unit /n• Strict 75-mile radius rule applies /n• Required certification: BLS (ACLS highly recommended but not required) /n• BSN degree not required /n• Charting system: MEDITECH /n• Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs (top and bottom) OR White top with Caribbean Blue bottom OR all white scrubs /n• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical facility providing acute care services to the community.
