critical care Description: We are seeking a contract Registered
Nurse with experience in both Intensive Care Unit and Progressive
Care Unit settings. The position requires proficiency in multiple
areas within a large hospital setting. Candidates must hold
certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support, and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale. A minimum
of 2 years of relevant experience is required. The role involves
floating between different critical care units based on staffing
needs. The nurse will need to successfully manage high-acuity
patients and perform a range of clinical tasks. Common patient
diagnoses include sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, acute respiratory
distress syndrome, and cardiovascular surgeries. Weekend and
holiday shifts are part of the scheduling requirements. Candidates
should be adaptable and willing to collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams. No self-scheduling is available;
assignments will be determined by management. This position demands
strong critical care nursing skills and expertise in a fast-paced
