Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist
with at least 2 years of experience and required certifications for
a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab role. Details -
Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab with 2
procedure rooms - Patient population includes adults and geriatric
patients - Setting is a Level II trauma facility - Uses Epic,
Pyxis, and SBAR systems - Day shifts with a schedule of 5x8 hour
shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM - Unit-provided scrubs - Float
within the facility and within the scope of practice as needed -
Call duties are assigned in a four-person call team with every
other weekend rotation - Weekend work is every other weekend unless
otherwise specified Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of cath lab
experience required - BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCIS certifications
required - Trauma Level II hospital experience required - State
license required if applicable - Experience with Epic, Pyxis, and
SBAR systems - References from two supervisors (manager level or
above) required for consideration - First-time travelers not
accepted Additional Information - Must be able to float within the
facility based on clinical scope and needs - Holiday coverage is
required; if one major holiday falls during the assignment, must
work it; if two, must work both; if three, must work two - Maximum
of 7 days of requested time off allowed; no RTO during the first
week of assignment - Compliance with pre-start requirements is
necessary for on-time orientation; orientation is scheduled
bi-weekly - Locals are accepted at the same rate - Travelers must
be away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one year to be
eligible for return as a traveler - If a traveler is not eligible
to return to a facility, completion of one successful assignment
outside the system is required before rebooking - Travel pairs are
not permitted to work the same shift on the same unit - Blocked
scheduling is not permitted - Scrubs are provided by the facility
