Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Speech
Pathologist to join our diverse team in providing facility-based
and home-based rehabilitation services. The role involves assessing
and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency
disorders. Our commitment to high-quality care enables us to
improve the well-being of our patients continuously in both
inpatient and outpatient settings. This position requires expertise
in developing treatment plans and providing therapy that assists
patients in improving their ability to communicate and swallow
effectively. Evaluate patient speech, language, and swallowing
abilities to diagnose disorders and set treatment goals. Implement
individualized treatment plans focusing on functional outcomes.
Educate family members and caregivers about patient care.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
Document and maintain accurate records of patient progress and
therapy. Strong knowledge of speech disorders and treatments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create
and follow through with tailored treatment plans Proficiency in the
use of diagnostic tools and software for speech therapy Medical
