Job Description:

HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Same Day Surgery (SDS) unit to oversee nursing activities ensuring high-quality care and operational effectiveness. As part of our team, you will lead a group of nursing professionals, maximizing the potential of our healthcare services and advocating for the best outcomes for patients. Your expertise will drive improvements in our unit, shape patient experiences, and support HCA Healthcare's mission to care for and improve human life. Coordinate daily operations in the Same Day Surgery unit, maintaining standards of care. Supervise nursing staff, providing training and ensuring compliance with state and hospital regulations. Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care plans. Monitor patient recovery and manage resources to maximize patient outcomes and department efficiency. Implement quality improvement initiatives and participate in professional development programs. Ensure accurate patient documentation and confidentiality according to compliance and regulations. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Deep knowledge of nursing operations and patient care Proficiency in healthcare management systems and EHR Capability to handle stressful situations and make decisions promptly Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
