Locum | Physician Obstetrics and Gynecology at CompHealth
summary: Locum tenens Obstetrics and Gynecology physician position
providing OB/GYN clinical and surgical care including high-risk
pregnancy management, OB ultrasounds, deliveries (approx.
700/year), laparoscopic gynecologic surgery, and office procedures
(IUD, colposcopy, LEEP). Schedule is Monday–Thursday 8:00–16:30
with 24-hour call, seeing ~15 patients/day and supported by an NP
for low-acuity cases; recruiter/agency handles credentialing,
travel, housing, malpractice, and weekly pay. Role is staffed
through a medical staffing agency offering assignment portal,
negotiated compensation, and end-to-end logistics support for locum

OB and GYN Average 1-2 deliveries per day Supported by NP managing
GYN and low-acuity OB 700 deliveries per year High risk pregnancy
management and OB ultrasounds required Surgical gynecology
including laparoscopic procedures Office procedures including IUD,
colposcopy, and LEEP We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
