Nights - Neuro Trauma) Overview: The Registered Nurse in the Neuro
Trauma unit delivers specialized critical care to individuals
suffering from intricate traumatic and neurological injuries. This
role involves coordinating patient care, upholding professional
accountability, and safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality
while collaborating with various healthcare departments. Candidates
must possess an accredited nursing education, a valid RN license,
physical endurance, and certifications such as Basic Life Support.

the nursing process to ensure effective patient care. The nurse
maintains accountability for the care provided to assigned patients
and assesses the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other
caregivers. Coordination of patient care with other departments is
essential, as is the protection of patient rights and
confidentiality. Responsibilities are carried out in alignment with

Trauma Intensive Care Unit (NTICU) is a highly specialized team
dedicated to caring for patients with complex traumatic injuries,
intricate medical diagnoses, and neurological emergencies requiring
critical care. While primarily focused on trauma and
neuro/neuro-surgical cases, we also attend to patients with various
critical care needs. This approach allows us to support our
community and other ICUs while fostering continuous learning and
growth within our nursing practice. Qualifications: Education: Must
be a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN
license in the hiring state or compact licensure, meeting all state
board of nursing requirements. Physical Requirements: Ability to
push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Prolonged
standing and walking required during each shift. Capability to
grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary.
Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American
Heart Association or successful completion of the course within 30
