and a trusted partner in the community. Role Description The LTC
Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing medication
dispensing and ensuring the safe and accurate preparation of
prescriptions for long-term care facilities. Key responsibilities
include reviewing and interpreting prescriptions, providing
consultation to healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with
all regulatory standards. The pharmacist will also collaborate with
the pharmacy team to optimize patient care and contribute to
continuous quality improvement. This is a full-time, on-site
position located in Auburn, ME. Qualifications Comprehensive
knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, medication therapy
management, and drug interactions. Proficiency in prescription
verification, non-sterile compounding, and quality assurance
standards. Strong communication and collaboration skills to
effectively work with healthcare providers, staff, and patients.
Attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy and
compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Licensed as a
Pharmacist in the state of Maine or eligible for licensure.
Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy is highly desirable.
Capacity to multitask in a high-paced environment while maintaining
accuracy and professionalism. Proficiency with pharmacy management
software and prescription processing systems.
