We are seeking a dedicated professional to conduct screening and diagnostic mammography, as well as breast sonography, for evaluation by radiologists. If your primary role involves specialized procedures, you will assist the radiologist with needle localizations and biopsies, while also providing essential patient care during radiological processes. You will apply radiation protection principles and may assist with general radiographic and administrative tasks as required. For those assigned to our mobile mammography unit, driving to various locations within the community will be part of your responsibilities. All duties should align with our mission, values, and service standards. Position Overview: Minimum Qualifications: - Education: Completion of an accredited Radiological Technology program. - Licensure: State licensure may be necessary based on the specific location of practice. - Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a relevant field. - Certification/Registration: Must hold certification from the ARRT, with R.T.(M) R.T.(BS) or RDMS(BR) or obtain certification in mammography (Breast Ultrasound Certification). - Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency in Breast Biopsy and Needle Localization procedures.
