Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Dothan, AL Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,566 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified CVICU RN in Dothan, Alabama, 36301! Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Stepdown RN – Alabama Start Date: January 19, 2026 Location: Alabama Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend required, Wednesday through Tuesday pay period Highlights: 13-week travel assignment in a cardiovascular stepdown unit accepting transfers from CCU Strong focus on cardiac care including post-cardiac procedures, A-fib/flutter management, and stable AMIs Experience with cardiac drips required: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Cardene, Tridil, Heparin, Dopamine, insulin Work with respiratory support including Optiflow and V-60s (no ventilators) EPIC charting system preferred; 24 hours of orientation provided First-time travelers welcome with sufficient cardiac experience Requirements: Active Alabama RN license or compact license at time of submittal Minimum 2 years of RN experience with CVICU background required Must be strong with open heart patients and post-cardiac procedures Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred Experience managing cardiac and insulin drips, chest tubes, and dysrhythmia interpretation Competency with central line care, PICC management, and high-flow nasal cannula Must reside outside 90-mile radius from facility COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered with documentation) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers experienced cardiovascular nurses the chance to expand their critical care skills in a supportive stepdown environment with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more.
