The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) plays a vital role in managing
research studies carried out by our organization. This position
entails overseeing daily operational tasks associated with clinical
trials, which includes a range of responsibilities such as
recruiting volunteers, maintaining inventory of drugs, devices, and
supplies, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, office
personnel, patients, and clinical monitors. Additionally, the CRN
is tasked with gathering, organizing, documenting, and analyzing
clinical research data while adhering to local, state, and federal
regulations. Training and mentoring duties will also be part of the
role. As the complexity and volume of studies increase from the
Associate Clinical Research Nurse level, the CRN will see a rise in
the number of enrollments and visits. Furthermore, the CRN will
support communication and relationship development with sponsors
and Contract Research Organizations (CROs). All responsibilities

Nurse (CRN) is essential for coordinating research studies within
our organization. This role involves managing daily operational
tasks related to clinical trials, including but not limited to
volunteer recruitment, inventory management of drugs, devices, and
supplies, and engaging with physicians, nurses, office staff,
patients, and clinical monitors. Responsibilities also encompass
the collection, organization, documentation, and analysis of
clinical research data while complying with local, state, and
federal regulations. The CRN will assist in training and mentoring
new staff. As the complexity of studies increases from the
Associate Clinical Research Nurse level, the CRN will handle a
greater number of enrollments and visits. Additionally, the CRN
will aid in fostering communication and building relationships with
sponsors and CROs. Qualifications: Education: A Nursing Diploma,
Associate’s degree in Nursing, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Licensure: Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid license in the
state of practice. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of nursing
experience for those with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years for those
with an Associate’s degree or diploma. Relevant experience may be
acquired through previous roles, educational achievements, or a
combination of both. Essential Skills: Ability to conduct basic
patient assessments, such as measuring vital signs, performing
spirometry, ECGs, phlebotomy, and blood glucose monitoring, or a
willingness to learn. Strong communication skills, especially in
direct interactions with healthcare professionals and the public.
Ability to engage with health professionals in a respectful and
assertive manner. Proficient in computer applications, including
the Internet and all Microsoft Office programs, as well as
familiarity with modems, printers, and other computer peripherals.
Above-average mathematical skills, including knowledge of the
metric system. Capability to work effectively both in teams and
independently, demonstrating high efficiency in identifying and
solving problems. Preferred Experience: Experience in phlebotomy
