About the Position Neurosurgeon – Full-Time Position in Dothan,
Alabama VHS is seeking a qualified and motivated Neurosurgeon to
join our team on a full-time basis in Dothan, Alabama. This is an
excellent opportunity to provide specialized neurological care

Position Summary: The Neurosurgeon will be responsible for
delivering comprehensive neurosurgical services to patients at a
single hospital, with a focus on patient care, surgical excellence,
and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves
managing a diverse spectrum of neurosurgical cases, working closely
with hospital staff, and utilizing advanced imaging and surgical
equipment. Key Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of
neurosurgical procedures with a focus on patient safety and
clinical excellence. Collaborate with neurology, radiology,
intensive care, and other specialty teams to develop and implement
treatment plans. Participate in patient consultations, preoperative
assessments, and postoperative care. Maintain accurate
documentation and ensure adherence to hospital protocols and
standards. Provide on-call coverage as scheduled to ensure
continuous patient care. Engage in continuous quality improvement
initiatives and professional development. Qualifications: MD or DO
degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of a
neurosurgery residency program. Board certification or eligibility
in neurosurgery. Valid medical license to practice in Alabama.
Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care and
professionalism. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative
