Date: ASAP About the Position Position: Full-Time Cardiothoracic
Surgeon Location: Dothan, Alabama Overview: We are seeking a highly
skilled and compassionate full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join
our well-established, hospital-employed surgical team in Dothan,
Alabama. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a

quality of life and healthcare excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Perform a broad range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures,
including open-heart surgeries, valve repairs/replacements,
coronary artery bypass grafting, and thoracic surgeries.
Collaborate closely with cardiology, intensive care, and other
specialty teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Lead
preoperative assessments and postoperative management of patients.
Utilize state-of-the-art facilities, including two endovascular
suites, open heart surgical suites, and advanced robotic systems
such as the da Vinci. Provide clinical oversight and supervision
for advanced practice providers and surgical staff. Participate in
on-call duties on a shared basis, approximately every third night
and weekend. Contribute to the continuous quality improvement
initiatives and maintain high standards of patient safety and
outcomes. Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of
Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Thoracic Surgery (American
Board of Thoracic Surgery or equivalent). Valid medical license to
practice in Alabama. Proven experience in cardiac and thoracic
surgical procedures. Excellent communication, teamwork, and
leadership skills. Commitment to delivering patient-centered,
high-quality care. Work Environment and Support: Hospital-employed
position with access to comprehensive surgical and support
services. Supportive multidisciplinary team including
cardiologists, intensivists, interventional radiologists, and
advanced practice providers. Access to modern surgical technology,
including robotic systems and hybrid operating rooms. Dedicated
Cardiothoracic ICU beds within a newly expanded unit. Compensation
and Benefits: Highly competitive salary with productivity bonuses.
