MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Montgomery, AL | Bonus Eligible Job Summary: A well-established manufacturing facility is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee the operation, upkeep, and continuous improvement of plant facilities and equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced, mid-sized industrial environment. The position offers growth potential, including a path to a Maintenance Manager role. New graduates with relevant educational backgrounds and strong internship or co-op experience are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: - Execute and monitor plant maintenance budgets and service continuity. - Lead and manage facility improvement and construction projects. - Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure timely project delivery. - Track and report on KPIs, project milestones, and safety performance. - Support BRC safety initiatives and enforce compliance across the facility. - Provide regular presentations and updates to management. - Manage lifting, rigging, and maintenance tools in accordance with facility standards. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). - Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in facility/project management or industrial maintenance preferred. Relevant internships, co-ops, or academic project experience will be considered for new graduates. Skills: - Skilled in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel and PowerPoint preferred. - Basic proficiency in hand tools, tape measure, multi-meters, and rigging equipment. - Familiarity with safety protocols (BRC knowledge ideal). - Strong communication and presentation abilities. - Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
