Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education teaching opportunity is available
in Montgomery, AL, serving K-12 students with diverse learning
needs. This contract position offers the chance to work onsite,
providing specialized instruction primarily in self-contained
classrooms across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver individualized and group instruction to
students with disabilities, adapting teaching methods to meet a
range of learning requirements. - Develop and implement
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with
multidisciplinary teams and families. - Monitor student progress
regularly and adjust interventions to promote academic and social
success. - Maintain accurate records and comply with state and
federal special education regulations. - Foster a supportive,
inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement
and development. Qualifications and Experience: - Valid Special
Education (SPED) licensure. - Experience teaching multiple needs
students within elementary, middle, and high school settings. -
Knowledge of special education laws, methodologies, and best
practices. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work
effectively with students, staff, and families. - Ability to manage
a caseload independently in a fast-paced educational environment.
Location and Details: - Position is based onsite in Montgomery,
Alabama. - Contract duration extends through the 2025-2026 school
year. - Full-time hours at 37.5 per week. - Four positions
available to serve various grade levels and caseloads. This role is
suited for educators passionate about making a significant impact
