Perform quantity take-offs for labor, materials, and equipment to prepare detailed bid proposals. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project scope and address potential challenges. Research and obtain competitive pricing from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options while maintaining project integrity. Ensure estimates comply with industry codes, regulations, and safety standards. Prepare and present detailed bid proposals, including cost breakdowns, schedules, and risk assessments. Track and update cost databases, historical pricing, and labor rates for continuous improvement in estimating accuracy. Assist in contract negotiations, change orders, and budget adjustments during project execution. Qualifications: 1 years of experience in electrical estimating within the construction, industrial, or commercial sectors. Proficient in estimating software such as Accubid or similar platforms.
