• Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image
  
• Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
  
• Provide a basic level of general nursing care to forensic clients, patients, and inmates with mental, emotional, or developmental disabilities
  
• Provide care under the clinical direction of a physician
  
• Respond to medical emergencies within the correctional facility, providing immediate care and coordinating with other healthcare and security staff
  
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting assessments, interventions, and communication with inmates
  
• Advocate for the health and well-being of inmates, ensuring that their healthcare needs are addressed appropriately
  
  
  JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE -RN REGISTERED -NURSE:
  
  
• 1+ years -of recent corrections experience required
  
• BLS issued through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
  
• RN license in Alabama or compact license -
  
• Be committed to going perm at the facility at the end of the contract
